Fall Camp Day Three...
The squad continued to focus on technique but added contact with both sleds and each other.
“It was more physical today and that is natural once the pads go on,” said Howard Schnellenberger, FAU’s head coach. “They came out with enthusiasm and the defensive backs held their back pedal longer which is good.”
The offensive and defensive lines matched up where transfer Kevin Cyrille and veteran Daniel Joseph continued to shine. Sophomore Jamere Johnson looked strong in the defensive drills but found his match with senior offensive lineman Lavoris Williams. Williams drew praise from both sides of the line.
The team will have their final day of preseason camp in half pads beginning at 3:30 p.m., Wednesday.
