We use both I guess, I just tend to say "Go FIU" more often but some just say go panthers or both. Also, a lot of our chants have "FIU". It depends I suppose. Don't you guys say "go FAU" or are you more prone to saying Go Owls?

I think most of the time fans use the mascot. I've never heard Georgia fans yell, "GO UGA" instead of GO DAWGS". Florida fans never say "GO UF" instead of "GO GATORS"

Yeah, that's true but that's not always the case. I don't know for some reason we choose to randomly say GO FIU instead. It's really not that big of a deal, it's not like noone says GO PANTHERS, everyone does, but we just equally say GO FIU as well. Go figure.

Yeah…. I mean, it's not a big deal… I was just wondering.

I've really not heard or read anything that said GO FAU in relation to the team. I can see it being said when there is an announcement about, say, the unanimous approval of our stadium or even the announcement of collaboration with Scripps or something. Something the school does peripheral to the team.
