That's a little bit much. I'd say he did good things, he just didn't give the university the full package it needs at this point.

wouldn't surprise me if it was Angelos that canceled the youth championship football game. Lets hope the next AD makes a big push for muli-uses when football isn't in town.

I don't know if it was posted, but, was it ever uncovered who was responsible for canceling that youth football championship game a few months ago that was to be played at the FAU stadium? Was it Angelos?

I had a couple of conversations with Craig about this incident. The reason why the kids were not allowed to play on the field was the potential damage to the field with the sod being so new. I can understand the concern there.

However, this should have been known ahead of time before a commitment was made to allow them to play their championship games on FAU field.

This was obviously a PR nightmare and something Craig wishes he would have had the chance to make good on.  Moral of the story, don't break your promises- especially when kids are involved.

Hopefully the next AD can build some goodwill back with these kids and parents.
