I wonder if we'll ever have aviation programs like Embry Riddle. It seems kind of a waste to be saddled with this boca airport and not use it for educational purposes.
Lynn has an aviation program

Re: FAU football equipment van
I asked Angelos about an equipment truck last year when I saw Minnesota's truck down here. Angelos, said FAU would not need a truck because of our far distances to some other states in the nation. This is just the beginning!!!!!!!
Can you imagine next year when FAU goes to FIU our truck pulling in at their campus???

I should have been more clear. Those moving trucks cost nearly $100,000 (including trailer and truck). That's one less trailer that moving company has - thus costing them money. Even though FAU didn't get cash-in-hand, I still consider it a donation.
Include the truck and you are way over $100,000. Good point on the moving company having one less truck. Maybe FAU bought the trailer and is then contracting the company to do the moving. I don't know the details. Just speculation.

As far as I know, FAU does the packing, driving and unpacking. I remember the game against UNT in 2007. The prOWLers helped to load the truck.

During the off season maybe the moving company keeps the stickers on and still does normal moving?
Doubt it. FAU probably uses it for taking all of the equipment to regional shops to get fixed, repaired and upgraded to NCAA Equipment standards.

How many times to they need to load up every piece of equipment to get tuned up?? They can't be doing it every weekend, maybe not even every month. I think the trailer should be made available for loyal fans in case they want to move…FAU style.

My understanding is once a year you have to get all that stuff tuned up
