Me thinks we might have another "high impact" transfer before it is all said and done…

I know Nick Tronti had some crazy high school numbers and was Mr. Football a few years ago, but reading some of the articles and posts about him show that he was going to be the #4 QB at Indiana and that he was not a highly recruited kid to begin with.  Sounds like he is coming and will sit out a year, but it doesn't sound like on paper he would be considered as high an impact player as the guys already on the roster at QB.  Am I missing something here?  Is he really some stud that Indiana just didn't recognize after having him in their program?

Competition is always a good thing, and you never know when you might find the diamond in the rough who just needed a chance and the right environment.  Hopefully getting back to FL will be the boost he needs.

I am thinking the lack of "prototypical size" (everyone wants a CAM!) and not real strong arm (decent though) hurt him with the BigBoys. We did offer him though!

MVP of the INDY scout team but them going out and getting the Dawkins kid we were also trying for put him down the list. Funny, but from reading on what Indy wants to do with their O he seemed to me their best option BEFORE the transfer came in.

He looks like a more athletic Driskell to me, decent arm (not strong) but quick with decisions on what to do with the ball and CAN run it!
