We WILL have the funding to move forward.

It will be in one fo the following ways:

1.  Private naming rights
2.  Private development of the housing phase

The latter is a LOCK…there is significant competition amongst companies for this "option"…

It is not the first "choice", which belongs to naming rights…but it is a failsafe in the event that doesnt happen - which i still believe will happen…

Bottom line, barring an act of God, we are "golden".

I give you serious props for being the eternal optimist. I just have to wonder if you remember all of the promises of a dome etc. Seems that you have forgotten about all of the things that have gone unfulfilled in the past. I am not trying to be negative, I just don't understand how you can be so optimistic.

Ok, now for reality:

There are SEVEN companies lined up, in competition against themselves, to do the housing project at a project base of $10M.

Owlfan, im not being "optimistic"…im being "realistic"!

I am not the only one who believes that until an agreement is signed, sealed, and delivered, it is all just "talk."

I have seen too many promises fall by the wayside because of an inept administration, BOT, etc.

As for realistic, I believe that it will happen. I am just not so sure that FAU will meet the 2010 deadline. History points to all of this being postponed once again. I hope it isn't and I hope to be sitting in a brand new on-campus stadium for FAU vs. MSU in 2010, but I am not holding my breath.
