I just glanced at the stats. FAU had 2 penalties for 25 yards  :o :o :o



This victory was sooooo important to prove we belonged in a bowl game. We beat a very good CMU team.

FORD FIELD 2008

Detroit Lions…… 0-8

Florida Atlantic Owls…… 1-0

FAU has more wins at Ford Field this season than the lions.
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

I want the Dolphins to draft Frantz in the first round so we can watch him more.

These Owls seem to always find a way to amaze me - never a dull moment in Owl Country.

Great WIN and it came against a team that we compete directly with on the recruiting trail & lost a few last year to the Chip's.

So, this victory will go a long way to hopefully keeping a few more recruit in South Florida.

Fantastic!
Last night for Christmas I got to sit with my Mom and watch my Owls win the MCB in primetime! I have had the crappiest year as far as work goes, and I never got to go to one game! For all the overnights I worked, and all the Saturdays I was sleeping instead of cheering on HS and the boys — this was a nice way to end the season!

It was a close score but I think it is safe to say that FAU had very good opportunity for one more score. They were close enough for a FG before they let the clock run out. If there had been one more minute on the clock, without any timeouts left, I'm sure FAU would have gone for another TD. The success they were having on that last drive, they probably would have gotten it.

No question Illi they were on the 8 yard line, and could have done it with the time they had left. The classy thing to do is knee and over. ;)
