I bought 2 flags and 2 magnets at sports authority off glades and 441 They were running low on all college teams except the Gators..lol and why is it that the banners cannot be made because of a contract with Websters.... IMO websters has not made enought stuff... there is a market out there were proof of it, It should not be this hard to find the stuff.

I'm not sure if Websters is still the liscensed vendor. They were the last of which I knew who had the contract. Now the FAU sports store is managed by College sports,Inc. That's why I called Websters. To see if they still own the rights.
I'm sure you know about copyright rules.

Yea, I know a bit about copywrite laws. Im just not sure why FAU has not released the logo for vendors to use. FAU sure hasnt been producing merchandise. If you go to the school store the shirts are made by Beefy-T, which I think is Levy and Jansport. I would think that now fan merchandise is getting more popular they would start marketing twords tailgateing gear and not just clothing lines. There is a large market that hasnt been taped yet.

I agree about the marketing strategies. I'd have my uncles,aunts and every cousin over the age of 7, printing some FAU merchandise. Spead it out a bit. :D

I bought a couple of the full-size flags (approx. 3ft by 5 ft) last year at a store in Boca. I believe the name was Flagcraft. Check the phonebook. The price was reasonable, and the flags were good quality. They offered a slight discount for those who purchased two. Good luck.

Do you know how much$ the flags are? Is it the new logo or the old owl logo with the gold in it?
