Jose i am glad that you had a blast, and i am sure it was an amazing time for all in NO!
I think we will see a lot of positive changes from this game….i hope the main one is a stadium in 2009 and not 2010.
We have one of the up and coming organizations in the Country! and we all know that…..its time to let everyone else know that.
A Texas trip would be awesome, i know of 6-8 of us taht are already planning…….WELL SEE YOU IN TEXAS!!!!!

This is another thing that I have a heart ache about when it comes to our school. I wish the city of boca raton would allow us to place light post banner on Glades road. But we would have to get a waiver to a sign ordinance, its a bunch of work that we would need to fill out applications, possibly hire an attorney and all that good stuff. Believe I know because my previous job was working on signage and city ordinances, and boca raton is by far the most difficult.
Difficult but not impossible, right? It's time that FAU steps outside of its comfort zone and does what's right for the students and the fans.

Can you change that electric Billboard in front of the school to say that too?
Honestly, you can't read ANYTHING written on the marquee. I was stopped at the intersection there, heading west, so as close to it as you can be…. and I couldn't read it.
It really should be pictures only.

The marquee is a disaster from past student governments. See this article for more information:
http://media.www.upressonline.com/media/storage/paper518/news/2007/10/02/CurrentIssue/Blame.Canada-3006999.shtml
It cost $500000 (!). The company that makes it designed it for colder climates which is, according to the article, why it is offline so often. When it does work it's tiring and disappointing to see it primarily used to display pictures of the SGA President and Vice President.

Texas trip already being planned by FAU. Details won't be released for a little while though.
Also, anyone that wants some advice on what to do and where to say in Texas, message me. I suggest flying into San Antonio (and hour from Austin) and spending a day at the Alamo/downtown SA and a night on the Riverwalk. Much like South Beach, the Riverwalk is party central for the entire state of Texas (one of the top five tourist attractions). There is also Six Flags, a water park and underground caves in San Antonio. Remember, it's Labor day weekend so fly in to SA on Thursday morning, do the Alamo and
Riverwalk. Friday and Saturday spend in Austin. Sunday spend at Six Flags and the water park. Fly home Monday.
