What's Mr Ho have to say lately about the CUSA breakup and realignment, anything??
He hasn't said anything lately. He has two or three active identities on the Troy board and he has been ripping at FAU this week. He does it to get reaction and he is successful. A few FAU posters on the Troy board have gone at him.
You have to take what he writes with a grain of … well … rice.
well if he does say anything (about that only ) let me know…the rest of the "ripping" i dont particularly care about

Re: FAU/Troy to play Memphis
My inside source continues to tell me that SBC in negotiations with Old Southern Miss AND possibly one more team (not Memphis - remember they too basketball oriented). They also concerned about FIU. Only average 6k per game and that ticket sold not in seat. Product real bad now. BUT FIU have lot going for it. They start Medical School and really have 25,000 student. There is also concern that FAU and FIU would leave for Big East or CDOA - although their other facilities suck at moment. That big market down there not like Pkie County.
Talk still about either ACC or Big Ten replace CDOA in New Orleans Bowl. Mr. Ho also hear that '08 NO Bowl to be run by Sugar Bowl Foundation with game moved to week before Sugar Bowl - possibly Decemebr 28th or 29th. That why ACC or Big 10 in talk with Bowl official. They want total crazy time in New Orleans.
Also, Mr. Ho hear that SunBelt REALLY worried that BRCC win this Saturday and bring 200 people. Despite what BMarket think BRCC have terrible following. They not have many fan and band stinks. SunBelt worried that SunBelt get pushed out of equation if not good crowd from SunBelt team. Seriously, they REALLY worried.
Bower getting fired at Old Southern Miss is total crazy. 14 consecutive winning season. Total loyalty to OSM and this his reward. Dear Leader better cut back on his First-class flights to Kuala Lampur and pay LB more money.
Does it help recruiting? Absolutely! What they do now? Total chaos in Haddiesburgville. Who they get in place? Mr. Ho think Steve Campbell might get close look and that could killl our JUCO pipeline. Heck, Gailey might end up there and that would hurt us.
GT has no effect on TMTDM - maybe for some marginal players.
North Dallas 40 not benefit from change at A&M at all. Baylor maybe. SMU might hire Bower which would shake things up a bit - he coach at SMU last time they ranked 2nd in country (remember SMU used to rock old Southwest Conference) and they have nicest on-campus stadium in country - it like small pro stadium. Even student section have chairback seats.
All shake up help and hurt programs, depend on who they hire.

I hate to sound insulting, but since he insulted FAU…that's out the window. Dude needs to spell check and have someone re-read this stuff before posting it. I'm sure he's very well informed and a very nice individual but I, for one, do not take anyone seriously that has a weak understanding of the english language.

You're somewhat new to the board, we went over this a while back. I think BMarkey filled us in, He calls himself Mr. Ho after some Chinese Restaurant thats in Troy. He spells like that on purpose. Not sure if he really is Asian or not but he's trying to be funny and for some reason people on the Troy board think he's hillarious, I think he's an idiot and he's annoying to read but thats just my opinion.
My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Mr. Ho lives in New Orleans, home of the SunBelt office. He posted this yesterday:

BRCC? Meaning "Boca Raton Commuter College" aka FAU?

He is pretty much an equal opportunity "curmudgeon". He is actually a young guy.

It's a town of 15,000 people (population can nearly double on a big game day) with the closest "large" towns of Montgomery (state capital) and Dothan an hour north or south.
It's smallness, friendliness and the school is its charm.

Another "honestly"- if UAB weren't pretty good in hoops I'd be all for expelling them from CUSA and adding Troy. Watching UCF play at UAB was the most depressing thing because there were no more than 3,000 fans there.
