well they probably alot 1-5 thousand (or whatever) per away team, since FAU didn't think it would sell much, it took only the 500, so the rest would be returned tickets, which is what you got.

I looked into it for the South Carolina game, and you always go through the FAU ticket office first, so you are grouped with the other owls and they get the credit for it, any away game!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure most schools have 1,00-5,000 tickets for the visiting teams, no matter who the visiting team is.  Could be FAU, Ohio State, or SE. Louisiana State.  Because FAU, Buffalo, and Vandy knew  not that many fans were going, they gave some of their tickets back to the home team.  Same thing happened with FAU and UF last year.  That being said, always try to get the tickets from FAU, no matter how difficult it may be.  Being a student, I'd really appreciate Owl's fan's cash going to FAU and not UGA.

They GOTTA get their act together AND COMMUNICATE what is available to all Owl students and alumni and the general population get more people in the community involved. Who knows how many UGA or Bama or Navy grads are local to Boca and may chose to buy their tickets through FAU and support the local U if they knew…

Does anyone know if FAU has made the UGA game tickets available in the Owls section?

Would much rather sit with some fellow board members and players parents rather than with them dawgs. Although sitting in the student section with all of those sorority girls would be a nice alternative…

The ticket office said they should be available within a week…

I got an email today from athletics in regards to buying Away game tickets. Think this went out to season ticket holder only right now as we usually have 1st shot at away games.

Yup, got mine too…also, checking on ebay and found some sweet seats! 45 yard line, visitors side, row 1…$130 per, not bad for that seat at a UGA game.

UGA still selling @ $45 each but don't know where they are at. What is FAU selling them for?

As Season Ticket Holders, we would like to offer you a special opportunity. As of 10 a.m. today, our Season Ticket Holders have the “first right” to purchase away-game tickets for the:

September 15th Georgia game played in Athens ($45/ticket),
September 22nd Alabama game played in Tuscaloosa ($55/ticket)
November 3rd Navy game played in Annapolis, MD ($35/ticket).
