UNT should be no problem, I would think. It is home though. The other games, which includes FIU are away. I think it is possible to win 2 of the next 3. 3 out of 3 would be better.
They have their first bye this week. Guess what they are going to work on? 2 weeks to prepare for Troy. They'll have 2 weeks to prepare for FIU.

The younger players will get better. We miss the mentally tough offensive player like, yeah I have to say it.. Crissinger from the last two years. Bynes also had the "give me the ball" attitude. Our few seniors on the team need to have that for the next few games if we are to win any of them. Have you guys seen ANY one of our WR's getting angry for not getting a pass thrown his way? I'm not saying it's acceptable to argue or cause dissension on the sidelines but it does show some competitive fire. Tony and Rosey also lead the team in Unsportsman flags for tusseling or something silly. But sometimes it fired the team up.

Next year we will probably have one or two who will demand the ball by way of his inspired play on the field.

Play calling was terrible. I was hoping Schnelly would go for the 4 and 1 with the few seconds left. He may have been able to pull at least one play off then try the FG. The ole shoulda coulda woulda its done look to the next one. The one thing I don't understand if they are so hell bent on not playing Mckinson at QB then why don't they start letting him in on returns and running some of the passing routes.

To clarify my statement before some people mistake it for my Ok'ing players to become trouble or knuckleheads on the sidelines.

I don't see the mental toughness in our WR/TE seniors this year. Win or lose it should still show through.

I NEVER in my life dreamed ASU could rack up almost 400 yards offense and post only 3 points. But then I never dreamed that ASU could cough up the ball four times in scoring range and win. I also never dreamed ASU would hold FAU to so few yards.

McKinson may not be a bad K/P returner. Our #14 need to realize that he has to break a few tackles before he breaks the big one. Hit the hole and then cut instead of cutting to find an opening. Another youngster who need some work on that part of his game too.

I agree with OG, with the fact that this team does lack that attitude, the bit of swagger & cockyness the other players yeilded - the players played with alot more emotion, the current players need to find that fighting attitude a bit - we have no "Go To" guy on offense that wants the ball, no one has seperated themselves, no one has taken charge - we are missing C-Hill this year.

Part of the problem could lie with the fact that most are young guys who are waiting for the veterans to lead them which is not happening - the young guys will have to step-up and take the leadership spot if the veterans are not up to it.

Again we had chances, but just couldn't get it done - in a game like this every opportunities count and every mistake are magnified. Why do we keep dropping balls in the most opportune times ??? The players just aren't hungry enough, they need to dig deep and find some mental toughness - again the veterans need to step-up and lead the young guys - I think we are missing those key players that did just that in game changing moments the past two years, hopefully someone will emerge and bring the attitude needed to lead.

I think most of us are shocked in the fact that there was so little offense, but the team did hang in there again and gave themselve a chance to get a W at the end, it just didn't work-out in our favor.

I like the way the denfense step-up to the challenge after a disappointing preformance in last weeks lost - they did an excellent job controlling a very potent offense - game ball goes to the D-unit as a hole.
