Tough to call with Embick out and Clayton and Souverain unproven. Luckily NT's defense is not so strong so it may not shut down our run game. Then Clayton can complete a few passes for MaGahee and Simeon to have decent yardage after the catch.
We also have to stop their dynamic duo at RB.

True - this game is nearly impossible to predict. Embick was FAU's QB and now Clayton/Souverain are taking over. Anybody's guess as to how it will go. However, being an FAU fan I gotta say:

I will agree that this is a tough game to predict.

With a new QB under center we know that the offense will be simplified, which I'm not so sure is a good thing.
Simplify it to much we become predictable and the opposing D will blitz all day (which they probably will knowing a new kid in under center), but then it could help the OL less to worry about. With a pocket passer, there is less movement and schemes the line have to worry about and less decision for then to make which hopefully results in less mistakes being made. Plus, maybe the youngs kids play a little harder to help keep the pressure off Clayton - I am hoping that they step it up a notch or two. The receiver will have to help Clayton out by getting open and fighting for the ball more, lets be more aggressive WR.

The defense doesn't really need to do to much as far as adjusment - yes we got burned last week with a few long plays, but thats the way it goes sometimes. I would rather see us be aggressive on defense and give up long plays now and then - the pressure can lead to mistake by the other teams.

The defense needs to have a big game and help relieve pressure on the offense and allowed them to find some rythm.

Will we be able to run the ball effectively - I just hope that we us the pass to set-up the run and not the other way around - North texas will expect us to run the ball more more, lets do the opposite.

This will be a tigh ball game early and should be decided in the fourth quarter on a big play either by the defense or offense ( or a big play by the defense allowing the offense to make an even bigger play).
