I bet out of all of the games, our ends up being the best one (because it was a good game)…and ironically the only one that was not on TV.

Conference office selects them again…that's FIVE times now they will appear…would have thought that, we might have had a shot given out macth-up at MTSU, but guess not…

ASU at FIU Selected as Sun Belt Network Game of the Week for November 27

NEW ORLEANS - The Sun Belt Conference announced Monday that the Arkansas State at FIU football game has been selected as the Sun Belt Network Game of the Week.  The November 27 contest between the Red Wolves and the Panthers is set for a 2:30 p.m. (CT) kickoff.

The FIU-ASU game is the last of four selections that were made for the Sun Belt Network during the month of November.  The "Wild Card" selections were made 12 calendar days in advance and are designed to feature the most compelling game scheduled.

We'll see how it shakes up when the cards are all out on the table at season's end…….

While it might be nice to see some other teams (including FAU) I see what they are trying to do. If you're a Sun Belt fan you most likely want to see the teams that are "IN" the hunt for the confrence lead.

Now we ARE in the hunt, but we have a MUCH harder road ahead of us then FIU and need more help.

Unfortuantely its a very down year for the 'Belt in general. The Confrence only has 2 OOC wins, (Ours agaisnt UAB and I belive a FCS team someone beat). The team in the lead for a confrence championship doesnt have a winning record.

FIU has some momentum and is geting some attention on ESPN. Makes sense to showcase them. It really does. I just wish they had this kind of thing going in 2007. We would of been the ones on TV a lot.

No they didn't stomp us, but they are leading the way in the SBC and they way they played against Troy makes them an intriguing team for most spectators. Scoring 31 points in a single quarter and racking up 440 plus on the ground makes for a fun game to watch.
