Listening to the MTSU game via radio in 2003, that call  was incredible…"they might not be able to get this play off before time expires, Allen stumbles out of the pocket, avoids a sack and hucks it downfield to Rosie Bynes. OH MY GOD HE BROKE THE TACKLE, nothing but green turf in front of him, the Owls are gonna win the ball game" fastest startup to ever beat a D1 program in history on a 60 yard TD with 0:00  on the clock.

The NAU game watch party was at Bud Murphy's if I remember right, it was the. Oat packed I've ever seen that place and when we pulled out the win I remember people spraying beer over the crowd and guys crowd surfing, just insane.

More to come…

For me it is very easy. The team running out on the field, for the first time,at our new stadium.

Several Football games came to mind.

In Dolphin Stadium:

2001 - Slippery Rock, the first game in history. We picked SR for the first game so we could get a win. We failed to submit all the proper paperwork in time and about 15 players were ineligible for the game and we got crushed.

2007 - Minnesota, our first win against a BCS program. The score was close but we really dominated most of the game.

2008 - FIU, the marathon OT victory when over 100 points were scored.

In Lockhart Sand Pit:

2003 - Valdosta State--The game after the incredible victory at MTSU--the game gets stopped because of lightning, everyone has to leave, and then the game resumes after about an hour, and we got destroyed. one of the worst games in history.

2003 - Colgate, we are playing to go to the National Championship but lose. What a great year that was. I-AA was a lot of fun.

2007 - USF, they are ranked #6, Lockhart was packed. The best football atmosphere we have had. USF wins by the skin of their teeth, and they knew they barely got out alive.

2007 - La. Monroe - 3 OT loss for us.  Student body section moves from end zone to end zone during each OT. Heartbreaking loss.

2009 - MTSU, Halloween night. I got to flip the coin (we won the toss). Rusty Smith got injured and that was his last game in an Owls Jersey.

Games not attended:

2003 - Northern Arizona, mention by a few already.  I-AA Playoff game. No one gave us a chance.  We crushed them. I was at some restaurant watch party in Boca. Standing room only.  My wife and I stood for 4 hours and the place was going crazy.  Good times.

2004 - Hawaii, maybe the most memorable for me.  We are in the middle of a hurricane.  The shutters are up. Can't get any radio reception in the house because of the shutters. It's in the middle of the night because it is at Hawaii.  For some reason I go to the garage and turn on the radio in the car and can hear every other word.  I listen to every other word and realize we are going to beat Hawaii at Hawaii.  I ran inside and woke up my wife to tell her we are going to win.  Her response: Who cares...and went back to sleep.  I on the other hand, went back to the garage and continued my celebration!

That Hawaii game was incredible.   My brother and I were living out in west Coral Springs during that hurricane and somehow did not lose the signal from Directv and were able to watch the entire game.

I'll never forget scoring the TD to tie the game with 20 seconds left.  Jarred Allen drops back on 4th and 18 form thier 38 yard line with 40 seconds left and somehow finds ACH over the middle in the end zone for a TD.  All we needed to do was make the extra point to win…we miss, talk about highs and lows.

Doug Parker takes a run in to win the game in OT, me and my brother rolling around and screaming on the floor at 3:30 a.m.

Do you really think after that bolded line, people will believe that you did not make out with our unnamed friend?  :Not-Talking:

Said it before and I'll say it again, weird things happen when we win last minute football games.

I was at that game, They ran like the same play back to back setting up Richardson for consecutive 3 PT shots, then Roster got us the lead w a lay up (that he could've easily dunked).

Usually I am the one pulling hair during something climatic…was a weird change of pace for me.
