FEARLESS PREDICTIONS FOR FAU @USC

FEARLESS PREDICTIONS FOR FAU @USC

If it comes down to the run game (due to the weather) we might have a serious advantage.  In two games, their top rusher has yet to break 100 yards on 30 carries, he has 76 yards which is less than our RB Morris from 1 game against a vaunted Blackshirt Defense.

Exactly. It will come down to the running game if the weather is bad. Poor conditions even out the playing field (remember FAU at Bethune-Cookman in 2001??) and give us a much better chance in this game since we do have a big RB who can grind out the yardage in sloppy conditions.

Re: FEARLESS PREDICTIONS FOR FAU @USC

if it is raining and soak & wet, could change the whole dynamics, then it is a matter of luck from fumbles, slipping, they way the ball bounces, can go in our favor our against us. We still need a big upset, and I hope this can be the game, I'll take it anyway we can.

The rain here though is not down pour, it starts and stops, nothing extremely heavy at all, but the field will be soaked by the time saturday rolls around.

If I go with my gut I don't like the answer so I am going with Owlando's description, it's more exciting.

Due to our NEW 3-Tight End lineup (Thanks GENT!)

Rusty passes for over 300yrds with 3 TDs, 1 INT. Morris runs for 90yrds and scores his first TD of his college career. Defense slacks as usual, but safety A-Rod makes the game-changing INT and takes it all the way for his first TD.

USC: 31 – FAU: 35

Do these visions always pop in your head like this, and have any of them ever remotely been correct?

Until we prove we can beat a BCS team on the road, I have to go with the head and not the heart.  We will win one some day.  Not sure Saturday is that day.  It would be great!

44-14 USC

We need to show we can drive down the field and score in the first half and not during garbage time.

These visions don't always pop in my head, but 60% of the time I'm right, every time.

Re: FEARLESS PREDICTIONS FOR FAU @USC

We will have to do a much better job protecting the ball then during the Nebraska game and most games involving a BCS program…add the weather conditions that seems to be forecast-ed for the game, it puts an even higher emphasis on protecting the ball.

If we can manage to not turn the ball over or mental breakdowns like bad snaps, fumbled snaps…etc…we should give ourselves a chance to get something done offensively.

Morris should have a good day and I do believe the Gamecocks will try to establish the run themselves, it seems like Spurrier has been a tab bit more conservative with his play calling so far this season, so the defense will be tested and could be a critical part of the outcome.

I am hoping for the best and the Owls to play a solid game…We need to play a good game.
