FEARLESS PREDICTIONS WEEK FOURTEEN: FAU vs. ULM

The final week of the regular season brings the career of a legendary coach to a close. When Howard Schnellenberger came to FAU the program was nothing more than a dream. Schnellenberger built that dream from the ground up and the culmination of his work was the opening of FAU's new on-campus stadium in October. While the Owl's have not put together a season worthy of honoring Schnellenberger and his historic career, it should not diminish the accomplishments of one of the greatest coaches to ever grace the sidelines of college football. This historic week will mark the end of a monumental career and the first chapter of FAU football. Hats off to Coach and to all he has done for FAU. GO OWLS!!!

FEARLESS PREDICTIONS:

FAU vs. ULM 12/03

The Owls (1-10, 0-7) host ULM (3-8, 2-5) after coming off a win against non-conference opponent UAB. FAU will look to send legendary coach Howard Schnellenberger off with a win. Neither team has much success this season. ULM is statistically better in every category. FAU RB Alfred Morris will have to put up similar performance to his 38 carry 198 yard showing last week. Morris will look to break the 1200 yard mark on the season and should be the staple of the FAU offense this week. This game is a toss up as ULM is probably the better team by a slight margin, but FAU will be playing with emotion and turf churning rushing attack.

FEARLESS PREDICTION: FAU 27 ULM 24

SEC Championship LSU vs. Georgia 12/03

Georgia looks to play spoiler as LSU has its sights set on the National Championship. Georgia will be game, but the LSU defense will be too much.

FEARLESS PREDICTION: LSU 28 Georgia 14

BIG10 Championship Michigan State vs. Wisconsin 12/03

The first ever BIG10 championship will feature a matchup that saw MSU beat Wisconsin in the last seconds of a game that might have been the game of year in college football. Both teams have stellar defenses with Wisconsin having the edge on offense. This should be another classic.

FEARLESS PREDICTION: Wisconsin 31 Michigan State 28

Oklahoma vs. Oklahoma State 12/03

The classic known as "Bedlam" features two top 10 teams that both have aspirations of playing in a BCS bowl game. Oklahoma State stumbled against Iowa State for its lone loss and that may have cost the Cowboys a trip to the National Championship. The Cowboys will need an impressive win against rival Oklahoma in order to have a chance at jumping Alabama and getting into the National Championship. Oklahoma averages 43 points per game while Oklahoma State averages 49 points per game. This should be a good game with lots of offense and big plays.

FEARLESS PREDICTION: Oklahoma State 38 Oklahoma 34

Re: FEARLESS PREDICTIONS WEEK FOURTEEN: FAU vs. ULM

Critical factors:

Can the O Line do what no other Sun Belt Team has done against the Warhawks and open some substantial holes for Morris?

Can Wilbert make it two straight in solid performances?

Line is just +7…one bad play by ULM resulting in a score, as happened last week against UAB, changes the whole outcome.

The monkey's off the back, believe the Team goes out with a win, while keeping true to the all-time series in points between - nail biter style:

FAU 24  ULM 23
