FEARLESS PREDICTIONS: 2013 Week Two - FAU vs East Carolina

Post

I said on the podcast ECU 27- FAU 16 (…but wouldn't be surprised at all at FAU pulling off a big upset)

Great Podcast by the way.

After listening to the podcast, I was left with the feeling that we are not a very good football team right now.  Like others have mentioned, we have a ton of talent, speed, etc…. ah yes , potential as you might say.

Just not sure what to expect from the offense working on a short week of preparation.  They had one good drive against UM, hardly gives ones much confidence this team can score many points.

If the QB's can settle down a bit and the WR can have a good game, then we might be able to have a fighting chance ….

I do think that we will continue to see this team improve with every game ( similar to last year), but this team unfortunately is still a work in progress for a few more games.

I just don't think we can muster enough to beat this ECU team… then again I hope I am surprised for once and get to see a great game and go to bed happy tonight!

I recall last year going into WKU and expecting us to get beat. But we surprised them and came out with a victory. So I am predicting FAU 37- ECU 28. I'm tired of being bad-mediocre.

I think it's going to be difficult for FAU to keep up with the ECU air-raid offense. The Owl's secondary is a strength, but with too many questions surrounding the offense, the defense will be kept on the field for long periods of time. Plus, FAU is one of just seven FBS teams that hasn't scored a touchdown this season – which doesn't bode well.

That said, I'm going ECU with a 42-13 win.

FAU needs to get the ball and have some long drives eating up the clock..Keep ECU offense off the field. Let the defense rest some. I think the offense will get some points by running and mixing things up..Turnovers is what we need..FAU upset 34-31

Our Defense looked pretty good but the offense was putrid. I'm going to say 27-13 ECU. I hope I'm wrong and I hope FAU comes out on the winning end, just don't see that happening many times this season

Believe Jab was the closest!

(with the accurate commentary being an added bonus)
