FEARLESS PREDICTIONS: 2014 Week Three - Tulsa vs FAU

Post

I recall we went on our 4 game winning streak last season when the players decided to take their names off their jerseys and replaced them with FAU... I think they should do that tomorrow. We might finish the season 10-2

OC40 rallies the students to get inside for kickoff and Partridge gets the call for red pants, he retires to the locker room with the team after warm ups and they return through the tunnel ALL dressed in red, players in red jerseys and pants, coaches in red pants.

We go on to roll Tulsa 34-3

Never underestimate the power of new unis

The new unis and helmets didn't work for UNT last night…

Tulsa 31  FAU 17.  This is a flat out guess. I have nothing to base it on. Next week I will have some info to base it on.

Exactly, you admit you have nothing to base it on so you go against FAU, nice.

GO OWLS!

There is the line, and also total points - which I was within one of back on Monday long before it was released  :Smug:

And of course, you can look at tape…

Bottom line:

If Quez has a good game, we win.

FAU 31, Tulsa 27. Few good things turn out to be easy. Here's hoping we honor Coach Schnellenberger better than we did at the opening game of our stadium.

What I have is two games. Both in which we looked so out matched that unless I watched game films, there is no way to tell how each position performed. We also have a starting QB that may as well be playing his first game of the year. And yes Rick, you are right . If Quez has a good game, we win. What that means is that the OL must also have a good game, the WR's must have a good game, and the RB's must have a good game. All of that is  needed for Quez to have a good game. If that happens and our defense doesn't play like the statistical cellar dwellers that we are, we may win. As I said,  I will have more to go on next week. No half empty, half full thing. More just a reality thing. We don't know how good or how poor we are at this point in the year. Saturday will answer a lot of questions.

I think this game will be decided on how well and long Johnson plays. Tulsa will be keying on him and his left shoulder. Also, how William Dukes performs if he is able to play. The Golden Hurricanes can score as proven against Tulane. Their defense will stack the box and dare FAU to pass. They will key on Whitehead with double coverage all day. Will the Owl's backups step up and play hard? And will FAU play to win or play not to lose?

This one will go down to the wire —- FAU 24,  Tulsa 23 in a nail biter….

I believe we get out coached tomorrow. Defense struggles once again. We lose 38-24. I really hope im wrong
