Final Scrimmage Game

I am looking forward to our final scrimmage game tomorrow. Lots of activities :D

It's important to show support for our teams on Sat.,
let's pack the stadium and show the players and the coaches appreciation for their hard work the past month.

There will be tailgating on Rally Alley so join the fun ;D

Final Scrimmage Game

It was a nice day for a spring game. The defense played like they had something to prove - they put constant pressure on the QB's all day and the secondary held up well, not giving up any big plays, yet delivering some good quality hits through out the day.

Manley continued to impress with his speed & hanging on to the ball. It was nice to see Dekolan James back in action with some quality carries - boy can he fly.

Also impressive was WR Porter-Isom, showing he has great hands and made some great catches.

On defense - good preformance overall. Here are some names you may not know that had good preformances,
DB Derek Zak, FS Cameron Rodgers & DB Lawarence Gordon.

Quick news update: They are still waiting on news of eligibilities of Campos & Rosas.

What about the defensive scheme.. :o :o :o :o
I loved it ;D

They showed a different front and sent the DB's on several occassions. That was very good to see. It really kept the offense off balance.

I'm suprised that Coach H didn't call them off just to let his offense get something going.

Going to be an interesting fall with the DB situation. It's always good to have spirited competition for these positions. That means the younger guys are learning the plays and are hungry to play.

It was good to see the different formations the defense did show- it's spring so why not experiment a little & Allen seemed fustrated at times too. Keeps these guys from getting complacent & may prove to be benefitial in the long run. Not calling the dogs off may just be Howard's way of saying - you got work to do boy's.

It amazing the freedom the coaches have with a bunch of veterans returning.
