I know your question was directed at mdawson but… I would think the answer would be yes. Or at least, they'd "prefer you not to damage the grass" but probably won't harass you about it because that's what people do at other schools.

Parking on the grass is not permitted. However setting a tent up on that grass and "tailgating"is fine. You just need to make sure any grilling is 20 ft. From any structure. Hope that helps. I can be reached at [email protected] if you have any questions.
