Meanwhile in the real world coach P. has almost the same team as last year (minus a NFL caliber RB) and has trippled our win count!

If you ask me we should give coach P. a medal, not fire him!

Statistically we're 300% better than last year  ;D.  I do think we took a step backward in this game, but there's one home game left until we can focus on getting all of our transfers and recruits ready for next season.  Lets go out on a win and then start working for next year. Coach P stays.

34 points and you coach defense I stayed the while game for that can't take this anymore ……..

Were you drunk when you started this thread??  Yes, losing to FIU sucks, but come on…this team is far ahead of where it was last year with basically the same players.  Did you forget last year when we weren't even competitive in SBC games.  Besides, firing a head coach after 1 season is dumb.  You'd be starting from scratch AGAIN next year.  This team is headed in the right direction…settle down.

It appears he is drunk everytime he posts, getting kind of sad actually.

GO OWLS!

Re: Fire pelini

3 wins and could have won four more (S. Bama, N. Texas, Navy and even FIU). Only four "bad" losses, MTSU, UL and Bama and UGA - one of which will be playing for the NATIONAL TITLE in Miami in january. Not too shabby to me from a REAL BAD 1-11 last year.
Yes I would have loved to have "potentially" been 7-4 now (or anywhere in between for that matter) but the program IS improving!

71ST in passing yards 113th in rushing yards 107th in points and 84th in points against. I am so tierd of of this if we get QB this class and we do not win 8 next year it will be time to start over. And there are a few people who agree but will not post it.  I am not angry about being about being 3-8 as so much to the fact that this past week was our bowl game per say the last time we will play FIU in god knows how long also at home and you come out flat have -13 yards rushing sorry but that is all attitude. If you can not get up your team up for that go coach somthing else.

we should revisit this post this time next year….I dont think we'll have people asking for his head by then

If things don't improve, there most certainly will be. Next year 3-4 wins isn't going to cut it. We need to be at the very least bowl eligible

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

Very likely. And the question is regardless of who's in at QB, whether Bracewell/Curtis, JUCO or a true freshman, how many games into the next season will it take before he "gets it" and we can start winning consistently? If it takes too long, we're talking about another sub 0.500 season.
