This team is MUCH better than last year. Outgained ULL by 70+ yards, punted once, but 3 turnovers kill most games and 0 for 3 on 4th down too!

 yea I'm with you man lets just keep losing and not get pissed sorry Somone has to do it if it was not or people like me Howard might sti be coaching and Jarvis will still be the greatest thing on campus. I have high expectations this is our 4th losing season in a row I'm over it

Your expectations are out of kilter with where we are.  Put down the Kool Aid, step back from the ledge and assess the situation.

And if you think you had a lick of anything to do with Howard stepping aside last year, I don't even know how to respond to it.

Tell me something, and feel free to be as specific as possible.  How exactly do YOU support this team?  Bitching and moaning does not qualify as support.  I'll hang up and listen.

Dude, just chill and think that Coach P. took over 1 BAD 1-11 team last year that also lost it's only star player.

This team is very much improved. Could or even should they have won 6 or 7 this year…yes.

But that is just the point.

THIS TEAM ONE YEAR REMOVED from being a nations WORST 1-11 was in the game 7 times and did not even embarass themselves vs. Bama and UGA whom jut played a GREAT game on tv with the winner now in the FBS Championship game. We played 7 bowl teams and even Wagner won their FCS conference and won their 1st 2 rounds of the FCS playoffs - so they were not that bad either!

And our O is showing DRAMATIC mprovement from last year and even the beginning of this year - even with last years starting qb still running the O (kudos to Graham Wilbert for a pretty damn good senior season (18 TD's and 6 Ints.)! 528 yards of O today, try remembering of last years pathetic O performance - LAST in the NATION!

I think a lot of posts in this thread were reactionary given the bad start. Let's give this some time - things are definetly looking up  - new/better conference on the way, better play on the field, seemiongly better in game coaching, better recruits coming…

I think we have devoted 4 pages too many to one single poster.  One guy wants to fire Pelini.  Let's all move on.  We build it up like there is a movement to fire Pelini and the reality is it is one guy.
