I think the fact FIU had 2 players drafted, and one signed right after the draft (Chris Smith with the Eagles) as a free agent, obviously helps FIU tremendously first. I do think it also helps FAU, as both programs are so similar in general..Heck, there is always the confusion with our names as well. Finally, it helps the Sun Belt as a whole to have more players drafted, and hopefully, performing…

The Sun Belt had 5 players drafted this year. Not great, but I believe it's gotta be at least similar to previous years, if not better.

Troy had a D-back, Brannon Condren, go in the fourth round. A few more will sign as free agents.

I don't remember what would have been C-Hills last season if things had gone different. That would have been great had he stayed out of trouble and got drafted. We had a 5 game win streak going and lost the game after he was dismissed.

Not a chance…too small…remember a TE blocks in the NFL heavily…

All I can say is, we have had MUCH more success on the field with less talent and size.

Not any more…beginning this year, we beef up in both departments…i think Pinnick is our best shot for next draft, but his speed might be a factor…

If two mediocre safties got picked up out of the Belt (which we can easily match) Acevedo MIGHT get looked at in a very late pick setting…anyone else, im not sure sure of from a "typical" pick standpoint…

This should help FIU in head-to-head recruiting matchups with us. Hopefully we can churn out a few draftees shortly.
