Florida Atlantic C-USA Celebration: July 1st, 2013

Nothing was mentioned at the event or on any of the afterviews.

I'm sure they are working on it, but after the GEO group fiasco they will probably keep thier cards close to the vest.

I have come here to chew bubble gum and kick @$$ and I'm out of bubble gum.

Not sure if this is the thread to ask this question but…any news on a possible sponsor for the stadium?

Coming from a Large Business/Fortune 500 background, I would have to say these types of business deals have to always be kept secret until they are done.  Too many things can derail them.  I wouldn't expect to ever hear of a near deal other than the standard line of "we are speaking with potential sponsors." IMHO

Yup.

I didnt watch it because it was so bad quality wise and I was there. But for those that couldnt make it at least you can hear what was said.

For the amount of people walking around with video cameras at that event there should be at least some quality footage. Unless a lackey forgot to clean the lens. I feel if it looks like that they shouldn't even bother.

+1  We didn't know anything about GEO until they announced the press conference….stadium naming deals fall under "don't ask permission, ask for forgiveness" because I think are HORRIBLE business decisions for company's that enter into them.  Having said that…I hope they get a GREAT deal from responsible corporate citizen with $6-7 mill to allocate to this over the next 8 to 10 years…

I honestly feel like if the local newspapers found out that we were finalizing another deal, they'd put a ton of effort into uncovering some dirt on the donor.
