Now, at first glance this looks to be a great get.

Just being rational however, must point out that McCants was dismissed from the Hoosier roster for a "violation of team rules".

Not sure what that was exactly, but one thing is for sure: Pelini is a big believer in second chances.

At Indiana, he accomplished this:

2011 (Freshman): Appeared in all 12 games … caught six passes for 54 yards … made first career reception for eight yards in win over South Carolina State.

I'm all for Pelini giving 2nd chances, next years team will be an offensive juggernaut against belt teams

He was a Big 10 wide receiver.  I think he will do well in the 'Belt.

Good size and BIGTEN talent makes for an interesting addition to the OWLS. He could be a dominant receiver in the SBC.
