Part of the joy of college football are the traditions and pageantry with each game day. What do we have, what do we want, and how do we achieve it?
Like, can the crowd understand the need to hear a pin drop in the stadium when our offense is on the field?
Can we be loud when the defense is on the field and the opposing offense is coming to the line of scrimmage?
Can we be so loud on third and fourth down that the airport authority comes over and says they can't hear the planes taking off?
Can we get the wave going in the stadium?
Be in your seats before the team comes out. Cheer them onto the field!
Attend the Owl Walk. Help get those guys pumped up!

- Singing the instrumental of "Seven Nation Army" during the game should be considered tradition. (See the Student Section)
- Singing "Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Hey-Hey-Hey Goodbye!" when we dominate in the forth quarter. (Again, see the Student Section)
- Staying to sing the FAU Alma Mater at the end of every game with the Marching Owls, win or lose. (Lyrics Below)
- Putting up your "4s" to start the 4th Quarter.
- "Lets Go Owls!"
- "F….A….U…Fight! Fight! Fight!"
- Jumping around whenever "Crazy Train" plays in the stadium.
- "It's Raining, It's Pouring, The Owls are Scoring!" during rainy games we are winning.
- "That an Owls…First Down!"
- Rushing the field after important home wins maybe a newish tradition, but I'm not endorsing that…. (Though we rushed every home win since Marshall…)
- Prowler Cheer: "To the Red, to the Red! To the Blue, to the Blue! Who are we? We're FAU! Hoot Hoot! Yeah Yeah! Hoot Hoot! Yeah Yeah!"
- Just before every kickoff, the crowd starts to make lots of noise. When the ball is kicked everyone yells, "FAU" and when the ball is caught, "Owls!" (From FAU Athletics Traditions Site [https://fausports.com/sports/2018/5/25/trads-fau-trads-html.aspx])
- With two minutes to go in the 2nd and 3rd quarters, the "Go Owls" cheer will start. The home side starts with "Go" and the student side responds with "Owls." (From FAU Athletics Traditions Site. We should bring this one back.)
Revolution- n. A large amount of change in a short amount of time. FAU- n. The place where tomorrow begins.
