I have to admit that I love the way the FANS on this board are looking at the team. Finding faults and at the same time revealing some strong points. Also looking at room for improvements in the future. That's the true fans approach. No homerism overload.

Now I've had time to let this game sink in, it's time for my thoughts (I know some of you out there have been waiting patiently for them).

First of all, injuries seem to be killing us. Perkins came out in the first quarter with some kind of shoulder injury and never returned and Wilson left because of dizziness. We're sorely missing Sanchez, Flemming, Mutakkabir and everyone else who's hurt.

As for Pinnick…..I didn't see the incident, but you know you can't touch the refs. This kid seems to have the physical tools, although he could do with adding some weight, but he just doesn't seem to have that mental edge needed to be a supreme pass rusher. As soon as he left, we got ZERO pressure on Jyles…he really should have picked us apart.

Our running game is still non-existent. Edgecomb has looked good at times, but our O-line is so ridiculously bad, that he just gets swamped on most plays. I just feel for Gary Nord overall….he must be limited to a certain number of plays because of our lack of a decent O-line.

Embick did look a little lost Thursday, but it must be hard on the kid…..he knows that EVERY game, our success depends on him. If he sucks, we lose….even if he does okay, we'll still probably lose. He has to have a perfect game for us to win…that's a lot of pressure to be taking on. He is a I-A player surrounded by I-AA-level players at the moment, let's be honest.

Now for my real ranting. Dantson Dareus - is this kid alright in the head?? He's such a physical specimen who learned from a quality TE (if not such a quality person) in Crissinger-Hill, yet this kid disappears in games. ZERO catches on Thursday night? He has no hands and if he could block worth a lick, his qb might have time to find an open man. What a waste.

And our D really needs to step things up….I know teams don't throw to Willie Hughley that often, but he should surely have more than 13 tackles in four games. Even friggin Erik Benson has more tackles than him! And what's with our ONE sack on the season….pathetic. Run some blitzes…what do we have to lose???

Anyway, that's enough for now. At least we still have that one pass play to Edgecomb that's resulted in two touchdowns in games this season!

I don't know what it is with Dangston? You don't want to think the worse and say he's gun shy but he short arms and drops some sure passes. They do need a playmaker real bad on offense.
Maybe Simeon will step up.

UCF got some decent recruits even after last year's record. There's so much to go around that FAU will still get a few gems.

Yeah, those jokers. They look like the kind of guys you want to give weapons to huh?! I'll talk to them, it was their first time doing it, give them time, just like the team, they will get better!

O.G I used to pretty active on those boards have been more reading rather than participating. I liked it when it would get heated up, really had some fun especially when the competetion in the classes was tight. Thinking back, damn this state does have a lot of talent.
