Yeah I don't know what you mean either SigEp, FAU didn't ask for an added donation for UF tickets.

I think he is talking about what UF does for its tickets...not what they did for FAU at the UF game.

If you were NOT a season seat holder, FAU required a $50 donation for the right to purchase one Florida game ticket for an additional $45.  As the game date approached, I believe FAU relaxed this policy.

When your demand exceeds your available space, you can tack on all sorts of mandatory donations.

On another note, one thing I was wondering while at the UF game is why they don't expand the Swamp to hold more than 90k people? I think they could expand it to 100, 110k and still do very well. If the demand is there, the money is there, you'd think they would do it.

this is ridiculous, they should of sold their allotment and asked for more, charging extra, we are too young, wait till we sellout everygame and have a waiting list, then turn on the donation policy to add an upper deck to our still nonexistent stadium…

i know i am a hater, i would rather have seen 10k fau fans at uf who paid $45 or $25, we cant get 10k in lockhart, case in point – usf game - wow, they brought everything they could.. i am very happy we did well this year and hopefully we continue on this path, but i have lived in south Florida my entire life and i can tell u when it comes to sports and attendance its not so easy.. the summer is long and FAU will no doubt loose steam come august with the fans. i would love to see 22k in Lockhart wearing red or blue or whatever color we choose.. for the homeopener, but i doubt it will happen..

we can make a friendly wager on this, what do u think diehard??? home opener attendance over / under 18k, u will take the over, SELLOUT FOR SURE, my wager is a 4 beer funnel, if i ever get my funnel back…

That'd be GREAT but I think Peyton has a point. I say 10,500 at our home opener and maybe about 1500 fans at Texas. Hope I'm dead wrong on both. I know a few people this year who after our success want season tickets next season so maybe I'm wrong and there are a lot of people like that

1,500 in Texas is about right… maybe too high…. it's not Gainesville, where it's a ride… only way there is a plane, which is expensive… 1,500 may be a bit high

ill go  12.5 - 15k…dependant upon what they do to market the game…

dont think we are at 17.5k YET, with who we have as a home opener - UAB…

now, if it were UCF, or FSU, or UM, yeah…sold out…

a week CUSA team, no…not YET…we will get there though!
