Of course having an autographed ball, a mini helmet, and a large Owl logo plastered on your desk won't necessarily spark antagonistic conversation ;D

I've been catching some hell at work also.

Unfortunately everyone here at the bank not only attended college, but went MUCH further along than I did so CB's comeback is not applicable.

I don't mind making jokes about how bad we are to other FAU students, alumni, and fans. But If one of my friends from any other school in Florida tries to talk bad about anythign FAU related, it gets real.
Kind of like a "only my family can talk bad about my family" type of situation.

People up here in Georgia have been real nice about the game with several actually sincere good lucks today to boot! And they have all been impressed with the $1M payday for the team!

I have traveled many a time to watch the Owls play big time schools and I'd say the highlight is the fact that since we're not much of a threat the people are really nice!

Birmingham Alabama on the other hand…

Okay, so who's going to the Melting Point for the Alumni Assoc. function?

My wife and I are going for a while. We are gonna leave by 6 to walk to the stadium (cutting through campus - NICE!). I like to be at or in the stadium for pre-game stuff (warm-ups, band, team entrances) , especially in a place like Sanford Stadium to soak up the game day atmosphere and experience. Part of what Coach P. wants FAU to become and I 100% totally agree with him on this!
