I think Jared Allan will make a great coach one day. Unfortunately that day isn't right now. He's still got a lot to learn

I hope that comes true.  It would be great to have him as a head coach if he could be succesful.

I think he can be very successful. I just don't think that time is now. He's still got a lot to learn about being a HC. I wouldn't be opposed to letting him handle more of the offense, see what he can do. One thing is for sure there's no better teacher for a young student of the game than Howard. Howard has probably forgotten more about football than most of us will ever know. JA got a lot of good people around him. Give him some time to learn the in's and out's and I think he'd make a heck of a coach

I agree.  To have a coach like JA would be great because you know beyond a doubt how much he cares about the program.  He needs to spend the next 5 years building roots within the S. Florida highschools so he will be an effective recruitor.  I would say then he would be ready to be an OC.
