I'd be OK with Leach. However Leach turned around TTech because of Crabtree. Crabtree put them on the map. Without Crabtree, a limited amount of money it remains to be seen what he can do. I won't name any names but I can think of 1 or 2 players I'd like to lock in a closet! lol

Haha!  Yeah, I agree with Crabtree.  He did make big names out of average QBs though (Harrell and a few others I cant remember).  But you're right, getting it done at Texas Tech and getting it done at FAU are two wayyyy different things.  Putting a program together at FAU is like getting a bucket of water in the desert while putting a program together at an SEC or Big XII school is like getting a bucket of water on the shore of a lake.

I guess my problem with Leach would be that I couldn't see him staying even if he was successful.  On the other hand I can see Randy Shannon making FAU his own.

Great move for Texas…lets be honest he was not coming to FAU to be a coordinator

Could see a situation where he would coach out there for a year or two, then look for another head coaching gig.
