Coming off a heartbreaking and stunning loss and in desperate need of a win, the Mean Green looks to its homecoming crowd at Fouts Field for inspiration.

After weeks of struggling with turnovers and not being able to close out games, a bigger challenge waits for the Mean Green to send fans home happy Saturday night. The UNT football team faces the Florida Atlantic University Owls, a team UNT has never defeated.

“I am tired of not being able finish games,” said linebacker Tobe Nwigwe, a sociology senior. “This is my last chance to beat FAU, my last homecoming game and I want to walk off the field with a smile on my face.”
