Some of the youth games are in the AM so it really depends on how bad they want to come to the PM games.

Also: Let's not overlook the dozens and dozens of service clubs in South Florida: Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, etc. These are great organizers and all work tirelessly on their projects. We just have to become one of their projects. They can turn out some numbers. In addition, a lot of universities and colleges have alumni groups in South Florida. The Alumni Association office should have a list. They should be approached.
Minnesota, huh? Wow. The 2005 schedule is a long way from that opening year schedule. Talk about moving fast….

Hey O.G. Owl,The problem with discontinueing 16,17 & 18 is that high schools are our feeder system. We need to stay in front of them as much as possible. I agree that the travel part is difficult for players. If we can work with the school system(a bus driver) for the day we may get them to the game. Also some of them drive themselves and friend to and from school. If we continue to throw it out there we never know who those same HS players may come across. Word of mouth is still one of the best medium.
We all know that So. Florida is an event type of town. If people really want to go, they'll find a way to get out there. Yes, I think that you need to put the word out there also. But because this is a pretty big event as far as college football is concerned, it should sell itself. Hopefully, for your guy's sake, there are alot of OK St. alumni down in this area. I also think that OK St. travels pretty well.
I think you guys will get the benefit of the doubt because people may want to see OK St. play especially if they're ranked and Miami is off that weekend.
But who knows with these fickle So. Floridian fans?!
Good Luck!! ;)

It will be interesting to see how they react when both of our schools start winning on a regular basis. It will happen. It's just too much talent in this state for us not to be consistantly competitive in a few years.

all been tried in the past with little results.. The problem in the past is there was no intrest. Most of the people in the club are older with their own colleges or just are not intrested in our team. No doubt with bigger teams coming there will be a bigger intrest we just need to slap a couple of 'W's on the scorecard to let the community know were for real… you have to earn respect……Also: Let's not overlook the dozens and dozens of service clubs in South Florida: Rotary, Kiwanis, Lions, etc. These are great organizers and all work tirelessly on their projects
