La Spada's over V & S? Hmm that's a tough one. V & S, hands down best Italian sub in town

Haven't been to V&S but La Spada's is clearly the local favorite wherever they go…

I've been happy with D'Best Subs on Yamato and 620-Subs as well, but they're not on the level of La Spada's. Obviously I support 620-Subs because they're big FAU fans but they don't make meatball subs and that's my thing.

Ahh makes sense. La Spada's is great, but you should try V & S and they have a meatball and it blows D'Best out of the water

My two favorite teams are FAU, and who ever is beating FIU!

620 is where most of the students go and the one i think is the best. With all the Jews and Italians in Boca good Deli and subs are not hard to find. This best sub debate in this broad can go on for another 1000 posts and probably even get more heated then other topics. I have had this debate a million times with FAU alum and students. In the end i would eat any of them at anytime.

We have gone over this time and time again, and there is little debate based on the "evidence"!

Re: Husker visit to FAU

it is kinda funny how much we have debated subs on this broad. Rick you should merge this topic into one epic sub debate.
IDK if you guys have heard this story, but i have always heard that the guy who owns 620 used to work for laSpadas had some then left and started his own sub shop now 620.

Yeah that's true, and I hear Tomasso's is good.

Yes, that's a true story which is why his slogan is "You've had their subs, now try ours" or something like that. I'm still partial to V & S over all of them

+1

Vinnie & Sal know how to do it right.  I guess their time in Brooklyn, NY trained them well.  I miss going to V & S, it's been a couple of years since I have had an Italian sub at V&S.  There is nothing in NC that even comes close.  I have to settle for "Jersey Mike's".

I will also have to try 620 next time I am down there.

Re: Husker visit to FAU

Been going to 620 subs since 2001 when I started at FAU.  Best sub in town.  I dont think the owner (Gary) worked for La Spadas though.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.
