Just wanted to remind everybody of this thread and remind everybody that there was NEVER a chance of us beating Texas in Austin…that game didn't matter.  Our season starts Saturday.

i disagree..  last year's upset of App State over Michigan proves that anything is possible.

Yeh but App State was the National Champion…and would have beat us last year, and they prolly could beat us this year.

And they caught them by surprise, and its the Big 10 against a southern team.

Right, its even further than that.  App State ran the spread which Michigan was not fit to defend, it was a case of the offensive scheme being ahead of the defensive scheme.  I dont think our pro-style offense is ahead of any defense.  This board is filled with a bunch of Lloyd Christmas like people…what are the chances of us beating Texas?  One in a Million…so you're saying theres a chance!

If you understood college football you would know there was really no chance of us beating Texas.  We lost that game like we have EVERY other OOC road game in our history….badly.

Yes anything is possible, so is me winning the lotto and marrying 3 swedish bikini models…but if it doesn't happen I should sulk about it and say my life sucks.  We were meant to lose this game, there is no reason to be upset…remember we got PAID to lose this game.  Everybody needs to understand that the ONLY thing that matters right now is winning our conference to get to the one bowl game tie-in the SunBelt has, losing to Troy by one point is worse than losing to Texas by 1,000.  I would be INCREDIBLY ELATED if we came through our OOC games 2-2, that would be UNREAL.

EVERYONE needs to remember that consistancy is what FAU needs right now, which is the hardest thing to attain in college football.  We did not take a step back in that Texas game, losing our SunBelt crown would be taking a step back.
