I don't see decline in your play, in fact, if the first game is a valid measuring stick, you may be slightly better than last year overall…

OU has an incredible offense that did not miss a beat after losing last year's Heisman, and UCF clearly has another very high-powered offense to deal with. No offense to the Knights, but you guys will not run the same level of athletes out there as OU (close - but not the same), and I expect FAU to eat a huge helping of humble pie and come out trying to prove something in these next 2 games. But it will be an uphill climb. I expect UCF to be HEAVY favorites now (probably the same 3 scores OU was).
My hope is (since I will be going) we see something much closer to the FAU from last November than we do the FAU from last weekend. We'll all have a better take after we see how the Owls react this weekend vs Air Force.

We find a QB before we play you…it will be a fun competitive night.
We dont…well, it wont be much of a game.
Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Wish our first game had been against Bethune-Cookman to iron out the kinks. That game comes before the UCF game. If the outcome isn't similar to last year's, or if that BCU game is in any way close, we're toast vs the Knights.
We do have a lot of talent. We just need to remember how best to utilize it.
