Many of us spent alot of money traveling to out of town games.  That's the way it is.  If you are going to bitch about it you should stay at home and save your money.  We travel to support the team because we believe in them.  We stand behind them!  When they are winning as well as losing. Everyone of those players give it everything they've got.  You think they want incomplete passes or missed tackles.  They have worked their butts off all summer and continue to do so everyday.  They want a win just like we do.  Actually MORE than we do.  They don't need fairweather fans kicking them when they are down. They do enough of that for themselves.  If you are a fan be a fan!  Through the good times and the bad times. Conferance Champs and a Bowl Game…that's their goal!  It's still within their reach.  Don't cut this team short.  They can achieve because they all believe!!!!  See you in Minnesota.

GO OWLS

Give em hell football mom. That is what I am talking about. Weak @ss fair weather fans.

GO OWLS!!!

2017 and 2019 Conference USA Champions

Call me old fashioned, but I agree with Football Mom. I travel to a number of out-of-town games. It isn't inexpensive. However, this does not give me special license to whine. I go because I love watching this team, or any wearing FAU colors and helmets. Would I prefer victories? Of course. But do I think the guys aren't trying? Nope. If I had thought eight years ago that the Owls would be playing the likes of Michigan State, Florida, Texas, Kansas, Kansas State, South Carolina, Clemson, Oklahoma State, South Florida, Central Florida and others – well, I would have checked on the quality of my bourbon. The Owls have come a long way in a short time. This might not be of much comfort for those of us who sat in a three-hour rain storm in East Lansing (and for the one of us who couldn't get home to Colorado for a day and a half because the train hit a car, then weather interferred). But it is the perspective we need to keep in mind.
