Two OOC dont mean jack for the bowl race…and then the bye week…almost a full month! that is a plus…
Not to get off topic… but I do think it is important to have a good showing against USF. If we can keep this game close it would go a long way in recruiting.
Couldnt agree more Diehard. I think this game is going to mean alot towards in state recruiting. On the topic of losing Pinnick and Savadge, its gonna be a hard hit on D. I sure hope the reserves can step up and soon.

He'll be back! Its in his heart to get back out there, and he also didnt have to get carted away!
Unfortunately, hopping off the field doesn't mean he didn't have a severe injury. I had a friend who played an entire quarter in HS with a torn miniscus. After having it operated on, he was out of commision for 6 months. I hope Josh's injury is just a sprain, but when coach says it's serious, you gotta believe the guy knows what he is talking about.
Ted's blog listed some potential "replacements" for Pinnick and Savidge. All look pretty light to me. Julian Myers is 218 lbs? Sounds like a WR, not a DE. I'd like to see top recruit Jarvis Givens get some pt at DT. Though, they may be trying to redshirt him as I havent seen him on the field at all.

I don't put much stock in those weights. They are from the Owls media guide, but those are never really that accurate. Hopefully some guys step up and take advantage of the playing time.

I think we're about to find out how good Pinnick and Savidge were. The backups aren't nearly as good as those two guys.
Not so fast Henny Pen…….
Pinnick may return - latest from today…
but if not, he i will give you…
Savidge, no…we have others capable fo filling that hole…

I understand that the jury is still out on whether or not Pinnick is hurt. What I do not understand is……What the heck is a "Henny Pen"? ???
Not only that, but the heck was the rest of that post about. It looks like Boomhauer from King of Hill wrote it ;D
