Interesting Contract Differences

He apparently shared a similar presentation with a group of OSF (Owl Scholarship Fund) members the Monday before the FIU game.  I thought that was really good.  He was providing added value to the OSF donors and getting them to understand his thinking as the same time.

Just received word that Florida Atlantic Athletic Director Pat Chun will begin a series of meetings designed to share his vision for the next Head Coach of the Owls.

One might liken them to a "Town Hall" setting where he will be seeking feedback from others as well.

One catch, to attend these sessions you have to be a member of the Owl Scholarship fund.

And a call out:

This is nothing more than a leader sharing what he sees in a qualification listing with an open ear to those in attendance.

Nothing more to be read into, and nothing more to be deduced.

This is not about integrity. I'm not worried about it. It's not the name you post under, it's what you post. And it's clear as day.. People shouldn't have to go to blogs with in house info in order to glorify their own analysis. I'd rather be the person that posted under a guest name than the guy who tries to live vicariously through this blog as some news breaker. They know better.

im sure you appreciate the insight, but if we have to address this at our next staff meeting, we will. I'll go now..

Hey Guest!!

Living vicariously??  Using in house info to glorify my analysis??  Leaker??

1.  The OSF was a meeting that all members were invited to.  That is where the presentation came from, and yes, I was there listening.  Along with about two dozen others.
2.  The contracts are public record.  Anybody who can read can get that information.
3.  Everything else I stated is either personal opinion or speculation on my part.

When you go into your staff meeting, I suggest that you print out this thread and stuff it in your shirt pocket so you will at least have the facts in hand.

But be careful – the  behavior you are exhibiting doesn't seem to be in sync with what I think they are trying to do.

I'm done.   No more time for this.

I think the point is that there can be 100 individual "Guest" posters and creating an identity that you will never acknowledge is you creates a face to your opinions and we know who we are debating.  OC40 certainly has a lot of minority opinions, but at least he put his identity to it, unlike you, or maybe it is me who is counter arguing my point because I have know life.  I am confused now.  Oh no, I forgot to take out the garbage like my mom told me.  I have to go do that before she gets home.

You are about to enter another dimension, a dimension not only of sight and sound but of mind. A journey into the wondrous land of the FAU offseason. Next stop, the Twilight Zone!.....dededededededede....

Wow.. things sure got weird today. I'm new, is this a regular thing here or is this probably some weirdo from FIU?

Ps: nice avatar  :Winking: thought I had found myself an original one a few days ago, oh well

bb isn't new.

People erroneously calling this message board a "blog" when it's a message board isn't new either, unfortunately.

This weird Guest fight thing is new though.

"I wish I had written them down". You even quoted him…. You listed what he said in the staff meeting last month. You were there listening to him. It's ok. No big deal.

BB was simply giving credit for Chun's vision.  I am pretty sure an AD does not want his vision kept a secret.  Just sayin'.  You obviously were in a staff meeting when Chun said some of those things and think they were private.  Chun said the same things at the Press Conference!  I was there. It's not private.  He also said them to the OSF meeting. I was there.  He wanted to keep his candidates a secret, but not what his vision for a new coach would be.

What Bb said was a compliment to FAU.  Let's not start suppressing good things at FAU.

It's more of a "cult" following than celebrity status.
