This will be a huge event in terms of size because of all the seniors and space could have been limited, by the time players, family members, founding members & family and so forth room was propably very limited after that. I know I got my invite later then ususal.

Bytor...Are you more than just a Season ticket holder?

I'm a booster and a season-ticket holder and I haven't received anything. I guess my 8 season tix aren't enough. They must want me to donate even more money for next season.

Same here 6 tickets since day one and I boost as much as I can boost.
I was invited and went to the banquet last year. Maybe that's the problem…..They probably saw my name and said "Whatever you do…Don't invite that azzhole next year!" ;D

Finally got through to Shelley. She is checking with Liz Jones. She isn't sure if invites went out to the "season ticket general public".
O.G. ..Beyond your season tickets, are you tied in with the Football team in other ways? Just curious. I'm sure I'll get the answer from Ms. Jones when she gets the message but I won't get huffy if this is for people directly connected to the team. :-/

I didn't really think about space limitations being an issue. I don't know how they made their cut off limit. The amount of seniors probably will play a part in limiting seats this year vs the previous years.

Let's say that I do have an inside interest with the team.. ;)

Like most of you, season ticket holders since day one, Alumni 89, booster other then that nobody special really :o I do help out with some stuff at times.

Remember last year - the hall was jammed pack and people that came late, didn't have a place to sit.

The invitation issues you discuss are based exclusively on space. Basically, the only venue in Boca large enough to accommodate an open invitation banquet would be priced to high to keep it from becoming cost prohibitive for the players' families. Therefore, invitations have been sent out in waves.

1. to players' families
2. to Football Founders
3. to Gridiron Club members
4. to otherwise unassociated paid guests from last season.
5. an extensive list to include players, staff, administration, etc.

If you should be on one of these lists and did not receive an invitation, absolutely call the football office at 561-297-1042. They may have an incorrect address for you and no other way of contacting you. It's not being handled by the the Gridiron Club this year. I believe it's an in-house deal. You may want to check with FAU's ops guy Todd.
