Find out the cost. Then again, maybe we put the $$$ towards his buyout… :Big-Grin:

We're 1-4.

We should've been 3-2. That's right, 3 wins away from Bowl eligibility.

In these instances, I usually tell myself that we can shock the world and go 6-1 for the remainder of the schedule. Shock the world like the Cleveland Cavaliers did. But now, I can't even work up the will to be optimistic about this season.

Coping mechanism: You wanna see great FAU football? Go to the games and stay for the first 3 quarters. Don't worry about the 4th quarter. If there's a weather delay before or during the game, just go/stay home. Stay hydrated when you listen to or watch the games… preferably with an alcoholic beverage. Follow these steps to avoid disappointment.

What's next? Do we let the young guys get some play time? More Parr? Make some #FreeJayWarren t-shirts? More playing time for freshmen OL? Request Chun to allow liquor service throughout the entire stadium?

Between my Uber rides and my game day tix, it only costs me $23 to attend a game. I'll still go to the games with low expections.

GO OWLS!!!

Don't think a sign is needed, losing to Charlotte will be the final nail I really believe!

And even if we win, not getting to another bowl when several 5-7 teams do again should do it as well! An EMPTY STADIUM cannot be tolerated, we do have bills to pay!

You know what's so funny about all this?

I have been saying this stuff for over two years and I was just crazy OC40.

Look at this forum it is in full met down the die hards of the die hards are talking about not going to games.

Don't be quite about it the only way to make change happen is to speak and who care if we are just FAU'S small fan base.

We hold more power then you think because FAU need's to keep the small support they do have happy.

Call your ticket guy or the OSF people and just complain trust me the s*** will roll up in the case.

You cant be apathetic be mad and use that energy to get Charlie back to fat Bret B.

Haha, cmon.  That's like predicting a couple gets divorced.  The stats say it happens 50%+ of the time, doens't make you a genius.

I could start a fire "x" coach at any mid major in thier first day and have a coin flip chance I end up right after 3 years.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Here's a crazy idea.

Instead of raising money for something that doesn't help in any way, why don't we raise money for the program which is the reason we are where we are.

We all know this program doesn't have the funds and as soon as we lose everyone wants to stop giving their $50.

Maybe WE are all also part of the problem.

It's not the losing, let's be frank, we haven't been any good for a loooong time. The frustration stems from zero improvement in the product on the field.

That banner plane is a disruptive, public, vocal complaint of the voiceless many to the establishment. Until OC donates 50k per year (and perhaps changes his delivery a bit) he won't have an audience with President Kelly. That doesn't mean his quest isn't right. Actually, dollar for dollar, you'll probably get more out of that $700 than if you donated it to the school!

OC is the man who is t afraid to start the difficult conversations. He is the Colin Kapernik of FAU!!! ;)

Tell ya what OC, we lose to Charlotte, put up a go fund me, I'll help ya pay for the plane!

The program isn't getting another dollar from me until I see some real change.  I'd gladly go in on a banner plane if the message was appropriate.

There are already donors backing away from athletics because they see it as a bridge to nowhere.
