who ever said they don't have better talent then us is wrong, they do have better talent. howards recruiting tactics suck. 3 star players are rated there for a reason. yeah, you can find 'diamonds in the rough' but every 3 star player we've had is not only seeing playing time but starting, with the exception of freshman. howard even admitted this year that his old school way of recruiting needs to change. last year new orleans bowl champs and were at the bottom of the sunbelt in recruiting rankings.

were constantly pushed all over both lines and there both filled with seniors. both troy and mtsu are mediocre football teams with no passing game and we still find a way to let them embarrass us.

committing WAY too many penalties.   It's as simple as that.  Of course our recruiting can always be better, but I stand by my original comment.  We are not losing because of talent.  We are losing because we are playing stupid, undisciplined football.

I think that talent is hurting us in the big OOC games, but not in conference play.  I have only seen the games shown on TV, but I consistenly see dumb mistakes made by FAU that should not be happening.  This is what angers me the most.  If we were to lose becuase we were just flat out "outplayed" then fine.  It sucks, but hey we did what we could.  That is not the case though. We are giving the other teams "free" touchdowns and it has to stop.  It really does look like Pee Wee football out there.  Someone said it last week after the MTSU game, and it was just said now, but again it is time for some disciplinary actions.  Players who are not producing need to sit out a game or two.  I was willing to give the starters one more chance to redeem themselves, but it didn't happen.  If you aren't helping us than your hurting us.  We really can't play any worse, so let's get the other strings out there and get them some game time plays.

While I'm ranting, another thing I noticed last night was that several times they showed our sideline and you saw our guys yelling at eachother, gettin in eachother's faces, and just a general lack of chemistry.  A team is a single unit, not individual players.  When these guys are all pissed at eachother, nothing will work.  Catches aren't made, tackles are missed, and routes are not run right.  I know that there is a lot of frustration, but they need to come together.  They need 10 days of team building or something.
