Re: Know the enemy...

Thanks for the video!  We are looking forward to the game with you guys!

I checked the spread and FAU is favored by 3.5 points!

Best of luck this weekend–our players are going to be pretty pissed off, due to our record & them hearing how upset their fans are after a poor effort against ULM.

GO OWLS!

Re: Know the enemy...

DCPOke,

How do you think your team will fair conditioning wise in the "sultry" air of SFL this weekend??

We're looking at 88' at kick-off with a 77' dewpoint??  And, air so thick you "can cut it with a knife"…

Looks like the weather there has been quite the opposite lately - expecting 51' on Saturday for a HIGH :o

Interestingly, I think being conditioned at 7,220 feet helps the Pokes deal with the heat and humidity.  They've manage to beat Ole Miss in Oxford, they've never lost to a Louisiana directional on the road, and in '98 they put Georgia through it's paces making them sweat out a 16-9 victory.  To be sure, Wyoming has gotten its butt kicked by the likes of Florida, Auburn and Texas A&M on the road, but those losses where caused  because the opponent was far superior, not the heat and humidity.

How could you leave the game last season when your team ruined the UT Vawls homecoming last year?

I went to that game and it was very plesant, no heat or humidity.  But, yes they Pokes took one to the Vols last year.  I've never seen such a deflated crowd than I have at the end of that game.
