I'm in Sec. 127.  I'm thinking it is for all the helpful tips and 1st 20 plays I scripted for the offense next Saturday.  Can't believe they will open up with a Flea Flicker!!! lol

I don't know the reason why, but the bonfire is no longer being done.

Not sure exactly why but as I mentioned before, the bonfire has apparently been moved to Homecoming.

I'm a little tired at the moment but I believe the bonfire used to be part of Fall Family Fest during Homecoming. Perhaps they're trying to move it back to that. That's the only thing I can think of.

I'm in the hyundai tower and mine says food or beer voucher.

guess the vouchers are only for certain areas. didnt receive them.

Sorry for the continued thread drift.

As a FYI, and take it FWIW, the bonfire has been removed from the Owl book.  Also, the homecoming parade has been done away with since no one shows to watch it.

Hmm. You're right about the bonfire. Weird.

But the Homecoming Parade is still listed in the new Owl Book. BTW it's HERE if the rest of you guys want to see it.

Still, I wouldn't be surprised if they got rid of the parade. They've been trying to make it work for a long time, constantly shifting it around. I think it worked best when it went down Dade Avenue but I'm sure students complained that it was difficult to go around on their way between the Caf and housing. I like the event but haven't made a point to see it in the last few years.

That said, I can't believe the ExtravaCANza event has stuck around but some of these other traditions have not.

I wonder if they still paint the windows. I'll look into that. Really great designs when they did it. I'm sure they had a hell of a time getting people to remove them afterwards though because that's not the fun part.

Correction.  The bonfire will be part of homecoming activities.
