Please go be an Alabama fan, be a winner.  You calling is just proof that you have too much time on your hand.  Please waste your money on a banner, I will be the one laughing my ass off in the stadium at the jack ass who spent the money on it.  Complete waste of time.  Grow up, he ain't going anywhere.

Did somebody say Bama???? As an alum of both FAU and Bama, I have to say that the only way to really affect change in the school is to have better boosters. They're the ones that help fund buyouts and bring in new coaches. In fact, the boosters at Bama even paid for Saban's lake house so that he wouldn't be interested in the Texas job a couple of years ago.

The reality is that we'll never have those kinds of boosters, because we'll never win four national championships in nine years. So really, being obnoxious, spending money on a banner plane, and stopping attending games is all we have. Oddly enough, I'm a much bigger FAU fan than Bama fan. I'm not on any forums there, and don't place as much emotion in the wellbeing of the program as I do at FAU.

Now, the best we can do to attract better boosters, is to start winning games, especially easy conference games. When that starts happening on a regular basis, local alum and local businesses will be more likely to invest money in a program that is going somewhere. Since that's not happening now at all, the best thing to do would be to fire CP now, so that the athletic department and university leaders at least look like they know what's going on in their school. Then hire an offensive guy who can instill a good scoring system and give the players the coaching they need to succeed. It'll hurt the school in the short term, but the long term benefits would be far better.

Also, if you want to see what good football looks like, go back and watch the Bama-Tennessee game. Nick Saban gets it. College football is becoming basketball on grass - a high scoring game that is fast paced and aggressive. That's why he hired Lane Kiffin a few years ago, and Steve Sarkisian a few weeks ago. We should model that (Nick's a defensive guy, but the next Bama coach will definitely be an offensive guy, possibly Dabo Swinney).

Yeah that's what I thought. I meant that I know a guy who knows a guy who has some good ballyhoo rigs.

Just a quick call out:

The area over and immediately around the Stadium is a no-fly zone.

Better make sure they are handing out binoculars at the gate if this is scheduled…

Someone has started a campaign, and says a Dunkin Donuts banner flew somewhere around over the stadium for the WKU game. In contrast, I have been told directly by FAU that it is a no fly zone when placing inquiry so not sure how valid this possibility is or if someone would step in, etc.
