The university doesn't do a very good job of keeping fans informed.
Usually I'm with you on that but the Alumni Association has sent me an email about each and every football game.
They are usually telling me to buy something in the process but at least it lets me know about the game.

Back again for another year…
Our attendance at the Metrodome for 2007 was just a bit better than 10K – the average for the seven games was 51,791 with a high of 63k+ and a low of 45k+. This is our last year in the Dome.
The opening capacity of our new on-campus stadium opening next year is slightly over 50,000 – as of last Saturday the ticket office estimated that there were 4-5000 seats remaining & a sell out is expected sooner rather than later. The stadium is being built to be easily expandable up to 80,000++ seats.
My mistake. I don't remember where I heard that it was less 10k. Kudos on 51k.

The dirt will be getting moved around this Spring and it will be up and complete by Spring/Summer 2010.
Is this information official or speculation?

I think there were less than 10k at last years FAU vs. Minnesota game.
Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Yeah…..Dolphin stadium was pretty empty…but damn that was a shootout. Polo put my heart at ease with his late pick…..I was sure we were going to overtime…..
That was a pretty silly game because it was like 35-14 and everything seemed to be well in hand. Then the defense took the second half off and almost lost it for us before Polo did what…. he used to do… well.
