But as someone else (and Dieter) said, this is the same group that pulled the Curtis/Wilbert switcheroo, so we shouldn't be surprised. It worked once, but the chances of it working again are slim. I just feel bad for the players, who are now nine games out from the opener and have no idea who their on-field leader on offense is going to be.

CP comes from Nebraska I think he knows what he's doing and I have all the confidence in the world in his decision making
This is a guy who once assaulted a cameraman on the field after a game and has managed to alienate many in the athletic office with his douchebaggery in just a short period of time. And the only reason he got the job at Nebraska initially was because of his brother. The same brother who could well be on his way out of Lincoln very quickly if the Huskers give up 63 and 72 points in games like they did last year and lose four games yet again. And what exactly makes you think you know what he's doing so far?

As for "wildcat"/owl names how about the horned owl formation? Who knows, we could get lucky and revoloutionize the game.

I am skeptical about all of this stuff. The staff doesn't want photos taken and details of practices to get out, and then suddenly they release details like this. I will believe what is going on when we line up and play a game.
I'm not completely convinced that it's not all a ruse myself. He's so into the black ops stuff that I wouldn't be blown away that on our first play from scrimmage, Quez is at QB, German lines up at WR, then motions into the backfield and takes over as QB from there.
I think you can get p!ssed at him if we lose and look like idiots out there next week. Fair enough. But if his gamesmanship is all to keep Miami/ECU guessing what they're going to see, and it works, then he's a genius and you guys will love him.

I don't see how this can be a good idea….. After all this time, the staff is just figuring out he's NOT going to be a QB????
Maybe he is the good QB we expected, but they see something better in one of the others. There obviously is a reason for this, they see something we don't. Whether we need more talent at WR or we have a few extra QB options to allow this, we will see soon enough.

OR…
It is all a big ruse to keep UM guessing for the opening game. If it does work though, I would hate to be the D to face it the first time!
