Dont think anyone disputes that. What is in question is if there is enough cash in the till to pay the man and his assitants what they want.

As someone said if anyone REALLY wants Mike Leach to be the head coach, then you need to pull out your checkbook and join the Owl Club post haste and earmark that donation for the football program.

I hope we get him too as I feel it would be great for our program. Im not sure if his friendship with Angelos and the location of the program is enough to get him to take less money then he feels he's worth.

is there anyway we can dig a canal from the inter-coastal to the stadium for his boat, no other stadium can offer him that!

All you have to do is to take out the spillway and dredge the El Rio Canal. It meets up with the Hillsboro River just behind Dixie highway and the Palm Beach/Broward Line. It would make it easy for him to get to the Cove.

All you have to do is to take out the spillway and dredge the El Rio Canal. It meets up with the Hillsboro River just behind Dixie highway and the Palm Beach/Broward Line. It would make it easy for him to get to the Cove.

That is correct, that canal system goes through Camino Gardens then turns into the overflow canal that runs all the up to FAU and actually creates the the East border along 4th Ave.  A little dredging and a couple larger bridges and we can go to the games by boat which would help alleviate the traffic issue being discussed on another thread. ;D

The heat just got turned WAY up on Mark Richt at UGA with the poor showing they had vs. a very good Boise St. team. Many now feel the SC game this week is the back breaker if they start out 0-2 again, many feel his being such a great guy is too weak to Coach big time collegiate football, not intense enough. Speaking of intense, anyone check out Kelly at ND during the loss to USF. Guys gonna blow a gasket AND shows NO Class. But Richt is a Boca native and can recruit and would dominate the Belt in all areas if he wanted too.

I agree with that train of thought.  If you cant get it done vs. UCF at Georgia you wont be able to with the resources at FAU.
