All I can say is the timing on this is good. These freshman and sophmores will get good experience and watch out in 2 years.
If last years seniors had played this schedule they wouldn't have had their 9-3 season. They would have aquired all that big 12, big 10 and big east experience just to graduate with it. FAU would be just where they are now except 2 years deep in the D-1 schedule.
I am trying to bring up some positive points. We know this is a rebuilding year!!!!!!!!

ok, special teams again. i have always said the biggest difference between small schools and big-time schools is the size of their lines and their kicking team. starting inside the 20, or worse yet, inside the 10 on every kickoff is pretty ridiculous. the size of the lines is pretty self-explanatory.

howard said that this game would tell us where we're at. we're equivalent to minnesota's backups. that's not necessarily a bad thing, although i would rather that they be equivalent to usc's backups.
